Justyna Signerska-Rynkowska
I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Dioscuri Centre in TDA. My scientific interests focus on dynamical systems and chaos theory and their applications to modelling of biological phenomena, especially in neurosciences.
I completed PhD in Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics of Polish Academy of Sciences (IMPAN). After that, among others, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the project "Complex oscillations in neuronal systems" at INRIA - Paris Centre and the Mathematical Neuroscience Team at CIRB (College de France). Since 2016 I've been employed as an assistant professor at Gdansk University of Technology, Institute of Applied Mathematics (currently on leave).
In TDA team I work on various applications of dynamical systems theory to time-series analysis. I believe in applied and, simultaneously, rigorous mathematics.
